design feature is created expressly for the middle- to high-handicap player.
Semi-shallow, wide sole long
irons transition to standard profile, medium-wide sole short irons to
control the center of gravity (CG) location. The result is a higher launch
angle in the long irons and a lower, more controlled trajectory in the short
irons.
Unique transitional deep
undercut cavity in the long irons changes to a more conventional deep
cavity, non-undercut design in the short irons. The deep, undercut cavity of
the long irons pulls the CG lower and farther back from the face making them
easier to get airborne and hit more solidly.
Back cavity shape also
increases heel and toe weighting by increasing mass on the heel and toe
areas of the back pad in both the undercut and non-undercut designs.
